This is an article on restoring MySQL data that was backed up from our web server to backup.carlisleprinting.net. Anything else is probably going to be different. What I normally do is to copy the database data from the web server's recent backup to the mysql folder on the backup server. Then you just start up the mysql server on the backup server and the old database should be accessible.
