While the word “Bindery” insinuates the manufacture of books, the Bindery at Carlisle Printing does much more than assemble books. Nearly all of our print projects are brought to completion in the bindery, from brochures to banners and, of course, books.

Perfect BoundThe classic soft-cover, with a durable-yet-flexible spine, has become the default binding for many types of books. Recommended For:

Smythe SewnThe feeling of a Smythe Sewn (Hardcover) book in hand is distinct from any feeling in the world. Perhaps it's the weight of all those bygone encyclopedias. Recommended For:

Saddle StitchedEasily the most simple binding method, and the most common binding for low page-count periodicals and other publications. Recommended For:

Wrapped-Spiral BoundA wrapped-spiral book has all the advantages of spiral binding, and none of the disadvantages. It lays flat, but still displays the title on the spine when standing on a shelf. Recommended For:

Twin-Loop BoundTwin-Loop bound books and calendars provide the same function as spiral bound books, but with a cleaner aesthetic and a no risk of unspooling. Also the facing pages do not become offset from each other slightly as they do when you open the normal spiral bound books. Recommended For:
