This site began as a retail site to sell pottery, but since so many pieces are one-of-a-kind and also sold in the retail store in Navarre, we needed to keep the inventory online in sync with the store inventory. We decided to use the website as the in-store checkout as well as an online retail store. This led to the development of an entire retail system all running from a single website.
