Trifold Brochures

A trifold brochure is a brochure that is folded twice to create 3 panels. The flat size is often 8.5 x 11 or 9 x 12. When creating a trifold brochure and you want to know where the folds are, a simple way is to set the guides in the file so that you have 3 panels, and the panel that folds in is 1/16 inch smaller than the others. On the front of the brochure, the panel that folds in is at the far left, and on the inside, the panel that folds in is on the far right. For 8.5 x 11 flat size, you would create the middle panel and the right panel to be 3 11/16 and the left panel to be 3 5/8.
