Sending Manroland Press Settings Without Plating
Sending Manroland Press Settings Without Plating
Currently there is a 'without plates' output that can just be used in Prinergy to accomplish this.
Otherwise, you can use the following procedure:
This is the method for sending ink coverage settings to the Manroland press WITHOUT also making plates. This would be used when the plates are made but the settings didn't get to the press for some reason.
1. Simply find the job in Prinergy
2. Start the normal 'Final Output' for the plates that you need to resend to the press. (Don't actually click 'ok' to start the process)
3. In the 'Start Process' dialog box you need to click 'Edit Process Template'
4. UNcheck the 'device' checkbox in this process template. This tells Prinergy not to send plates to the plate setter.
5. Click Ok at the bottom of this dialog as well as the next one to start the process.
This should send settings to the Manroland press. If this fails you can try to open the Prinergy job folder and delete the CIP Files folder to clear any jammed files and then try sending the settings again. If this still fails you can try copying the Prinergy job to a new job and sending again.
