Black Plate Changes
- Prepare 1 file for each version, plus 1 master file exactly like the others except the black imprint that changes has been removed.
- Refine all files
- Create separate imposition for all versions
- Output CMY separations of the master file without the imprint. (This is so that the black imprint that changes doesn’t get color corrected and set to knock out.) Plate K of the master file only if client desires some without any imprint, otherwise plate only CMY from the Master file. Make sure black imprint is set to Black Only!
- Output K separations of remaining impositions. Plate only K from imprint impositions.
